NEW Additions to Cakes by JudyC

2011 marks an exciting new era for Cakes by JudyC with the introduction of coffee and café seating to the Ashgrove store. Up until now, the store has been primarily a display centre for celebration cakes and small shop front selling daily baked treats.

Cakes by JudyC now serve Wolff Coffee daily and have café seating for approximately 15. The Celebration and Bridal cake displays remain unchanged as they are large part of the business. There is now however, a lovely place to sit, relax and browse through our cake look-books, bridal magazines or have a consultation with the cake design team.

Along with fresh coffee prepared by experienced barista Dion Shaw, there will be Judy’s usual array of biscuits, muffins, cakes, cupcakes, macaroons, whoopie pies as well as the ever-changing daily offering.

As always, our products are baked fresh on the premises daily by a small team of qualified pastry chefs and quality decorators.

Winter Warmers & Comfort Food

Time to pull out the woollies and warm up Brisbane! By the looks of the upcoming weather forecast it is going to be CHILLY. Brisbanites ( people from Brisbane,Queensland) don't usually do cold well, as most of the time it is warm. hot or sweltering in our city. When it does cool down, locals either curse the temperature drop or embrace the short time we have to snuggle up and eat comfort food.
Personally, I am  hoping more of the later is done because here at Cakes By Judy C - we have a cabinet full of Winter Warming treats!

We have Bread & Butter Puddings, Sticky Date Puddings ( in cabinet above) , Warm Apple Cakes with Butterscotch Brandy Sauce ( Below) & Mini Apple & Custard Teacakes (bottom pic) selling in store now.

Sicilian Apple Cakes

The cold breeze has started! The jumpers are finally coming out of the cupboards, along with the scarfs and beanie's and getting up of an early morning is torture... but not anymore!

Our Sicilian Apple Cakes (pictured) are now available hot out of the oven at 8.30am every Saturday morning this winter!

So stop by, I assure you it will be the best start to your weekend!
